The multi-classed Ranger/Cleric is great!! I played it through BG1 and i´m on my way through TOB. The stat-increasing books in BG1 made him invincible. I´m currently dual-wielding The Crom Fayer and the Flail of Ages.
My Stats are:
Str: 25 (with Crom Fayer)
Dex: 19
Con: 19
Int: 10
Wis: 21 - there are three books of wisdom in BG1!!
Cha: 10 (18 with the Human Influence ring)
I really recommend people to import BG1 characters to BG2. I have learned to love this guy like a son. He will be God-like.
