You cant queue spells at least not in realtime, but the pause button should make all this easy anyway.
A spell squancer is a like a bucket for spells, you cast it then you get to select what spells go into, say you put 3 fireballs in. When you want to fire 3 fireballs at once then you go to the special abilities and cast the sequencer from there. Instantly they fire, I should mention that you should try various combinations of spells in a sequencer.
Im not sure how to do the dog meat thing but if you have a wand of cloudkill or can cast it fire it into the room and close the door, it will kill the umberhulks instantly.
