What is the best of the four kinds of armor in the game?

1.Leather
2.Scale
3.Chain
4.Plate

I think it is:

1.Aeger's Hide
2.Red dragon scale
3.Mithril chain mail +4
4.Gorgon plate mail

Drow armor doesn't count.
