Could someone give me any advice?

I'm in the underdark now and (as a archer) nearing my limit (1 level to go). My question is: does it pay to install TOB already so i won't have the soa exp gap, OR will it it mess up the story line of soa since I still have to complete the complete that toryline (and I wan't tot do all the soa quests). I actually don't want to be temped to do one of the TOBquest (which will appear I guess if I install TOB). What do you guys think?
