Valygar is such a good choice for a female romance. He's like so many guys wish we were: dark, brooding, and single from strength of conviction rather than to B.O.

The other men in BG-II: Haer'Dalis would not settle down. Edwin would be HILLARIOUS -- I'd play a female just to see how that worked out. Minsc, eww, I don't want him romancing anyone near me. Korgan... well if a girl wants pain, okay, but again yuck. Keldorn is too goody-goody to betry his wedding vows. Yoshimo has plot-related issues. Jan would be funny, but he already has a love of his life. Cernd is as gay as mineral water He'd be a great homo-male romance, but I haven't heard anyone asking for one of those.

Notes for Edwin romance:
"Your power could grow to be immense. It would be wise for me to partake in your service (subtle emphasis on take, take, take)."

"While I was weak and transformed, you did not betray me. You have risen in my sight (though she was never hard on the eyes)."

"I will be honored to demonstrate the prowess of my Thavian maleness (at last, a wench I don't have to pay)."
