The best scimitar for Jaheira to use is Belm. It gives an extra attack. Depends on how you want to outfit her. If it's weapon and shield then go for Belm.
If you want her to be more of an offensive weapon then there's a spear called the Spear of Impaling which is hands-down the best weapon she can wield. You can get it in Chapter 5.
