The shadow dragon is beatable at these levels if you have a few things.....
magic resistance spell
monster summoning wand and/or spell
magic missile spell/wand
haste spell
range weapons for everyone
This is how I did it:
Use shadow dragon wardstone to cast magic resistance on dragon w/out it going hostile
cast monster summoning
haste everyone
cast magic missiles and use bows/crossbows/azerudge/slings
run my characters around and make the dragon chase me...
he never got an attack in on any of my characters. He finished of the summoned monsters with wing buffet/spells/attacks, but then I just summoned more
