OOC: Oh, I wouldn't worry. I've been gone for a couple of days myself.
IC: Tancred does a comic double-take, a gawp AND a raised eyebrow upon seeing Mel reveal the whip. Slowly, he turns his face to an invisible audience.
"THAT," he says to the imaginary onlookers, "I did not expect."
The thing begins to force it's way through. It has horns - never a good sign.
