I haven't played any of the Druid kits yet, but IMHO Shapeshifters ARE the best. They can only shapeshift into one creature, but it is the best one! In the beginning they become a Werewolf, and in the end they can become a Greater Werewolf. Imagine the carnage! Besides (if I am wrong, please correct me), I don't think Totemic Druids can shapeshift at all. You might as well play a Beast Master, at least then you get ranged attacks.
