I'm afraid you are stuck (or rather, Nalia's stuck). She's probably still where you left her.
After you complete her stronghold quest, you do not get the option for her to wait for you at, say, the Copper Coronet, or her keep or wherever. The only option if you want to drop her is for her to wait for you at
where she is. Could be a bug, I suppose, or an incomplete dialogue script.
If you really want her back, the only was as far as I know is to cheat using the CLUAConsole thingie and 'teleport' to the Asylum to get her back.
