Yes. I walked into Durlag's and cleaned it out. Sold the dagger to Thalantyr. Toddled around Baldur's Gate for a while and got sent to Candlekeep. When there were problems, I went to Ulgoth's Beard. Got the dagger, got jumped, skragged the cult, went to ice island, met Mendes, went to Baldur's Gate and got the charts, took them to Mendes, took a nite's sleep at the inn, and met him at the dock as scheduled.
