If you have Aerie in your party(or any other female) they will start talking to you at one point and according to your reaction they will keep saying things in time or stop doing it at all. Just be friendly if you want them to keep talking to you. The conversations will get more romantic over time if you said the right things. There is mostly only one answer that is reallly bad and ends the conversation/romance forever and it's damn easy to see which. Many times it's says something like: "stop your whining..." or "Do you keep babbling..." and so on.
After a lot of time they will become more and more interested in you which will then result in a romance.
