welll since im kinda new to this bg2 board thingy..id like to say hi to all of yall...HI...
2 rather easy ways of killin kangnaxx when your in a rather early stage is 2
1/buy 2 or 3 scrolls of protection from undead and cast it on yourself bfore u open up that coffin like thing...and then when the lich does come out he will finish up with his dialogue and the just stand there and do nothin so all u gotta do is wack the shit out o him....(cheezy method) at least i think so.
oh and make sure u leave the rest of your paty near the entrance where he cant c em.then u pretty much get the ring without havin to kill the demi lich
2/well the other way is since the 1st method was rather sleezy....
is to wack the lich and when hes pretty much near death..summon up abou 1 or 2
earth or fire elementals and leave em near the rest of the party which is obviously near the entrance (the stairs)where obviously the lich cant see em.
after that cast the protection from undead on the char near the lich and the
elemental(s).after the lich is dead then simply take the elemental(s) near the demi-lich who cant see your char or the elementals and then u can take ur own cool time and clobber his ass.....its simple as that
