The mace of disruption +2 gives protection from drain? All right ! I never upgraded it before, but that sounds like a great upgrade I'll have to do.
MM yea BLACKRAZOR is a great sword from hell, too bad you don't get to use it during the game. Yea I think The Holy Avenger is the strongest sword in the game no contest, with Celestial Fury close behind. I don't count Blackrazor because you can't use it really. After that, just depends on what you are fighting and what you perfer.
