As far as runningthe game without the CD it is quite easy but the game must be intalled on your computer first. If you do not have the game installed... sorry your out of luck
Anyhow assuming the game is on your computer and you want to run without the disk in your computer goto gamecopyworld and download the file that will say something like "no Cd patch", there are different ones for differnt versions so make sure you have the correct one. Download that patch then you will need to unzip the file. Use winzip or simalar for that... From there it is a matter of extracting the file to the correct location in your balaurs gate2 folder. If I remember you may just extract file to the main directory. Anyhow it will ask if you want to repace some .exe file choose yes and you are in business. Play game with no cd
