I had loads of problems setting new innate abilities for a kit. I took existing spells and tried to change them, it never worked.
I tried to give infravision as a permanent innate ability for a Human class, if I kept the spell duration he got it, but it (obviously) went again - as soon as I set it to perm He never got the ability.
