i kept yoshimo from the start but dumped him before i took the ship to Brynnlaw [sp] replaced by Jan temporarily just for dialogue. when i got back to the Coronet from the underdark, yoshimo simply collapsed and died as soon as i walked in.
i don't think there's any way to keep him beyond retrieving imoen that i've seen.
