There is a skinny noble looking bonus merchant in the middle of the Copper Coronet that has some very good but very expenive stuff, from Icewind Dale I think.

you need:
Blood of a friend - kill the carrion crawler to get its blood
Hand - the grate in the circular room
Lovers Ring - from skeletons on the wall
Kobold's Staff - from Kobold mage & friends (pickpocket maybe?)
There is a simple puzzle but with only four choices it is not too hard. The madman has some clues.
