Man, I'd use a template, much easier. A template is simply an existing item which has the effects you are looking for. Dakkon's Zerth Blade will give you 2 extra 1st-4th level spells, so load that item file. Just replicate the spell ability all the way to 9th level. Then change the ground/inventory/game icons to the ones that you want as well as the weapon type etc. When done, save under a new name. It's a lot easier than starting from scratch and you minimize the possibility that you forget to fill something in.
