Well, just the best equipment i guess,
there's really only one monk-specific item in the game
(making him pretty damn near-god like in damage terms)
-Ring of Gaxx
-Ring of protection +1 (optional)
-cloak of displacement / reflection
-girdle of inertial barrier / -any giant- strenght
-boots of speed (With patch, making his walk speed incredible)
-gauntlets of crushing (monk specific item)
something like that would make him a godlike killing machine
