Bards are great - but then I'm into roleplaying, not powergaming. Sure you can't slice through everything really quickly, but some people like to get a different experience from the game.
I really hope that the bardsong abilities from HoW are implemented, they are great (esp. Warchant of Sith or whatever it's called) and I'm sure would make even the most ardent bardhater sit up and take notice!
