Yes, there is a final play. And it is damn difficult!
The bard stronghold is one of the longest ones, usually about a week between events, but with only 1 day between the dress rehearsal and the final play.

When you are at the dress rehearsal, write down the
exact words that are said by the actors. In the final play, you will have to take a part and get the words
exactly right. This is what I mean by it being difficult, the dialogue options that are offered are all very similar. You still get some reward if you only get a few wrong, but you wanna do it right really!
