I doubt the fifth child of Bhaal is another one of our npcs. We know most of their parents. Maybe this Melissan is the fifth. She's pictured on the box so she has to be pivotal to the plot in some way. The concept drawings have tears of bhaal attached to her armour. She may be around to stop the children from killing each other because then Bhaal will be reborn. I was having a think about this and what if the PC doesn't get to ascend to god hood as everyone assumes? Where are we going to get the power, what would we rule over? Cyric has already claimed Bhaals' old portfolio. Finder became a god in the novels because he killed Moander. Even then he's only a very weak god. I think they would want to try to a major plot like the Bhaal spawn into the rest of Faerun and it's hard to mention if you don't know who the actual new god is, which is what would happen if your pc became a god. Everyone would say that their character is the god. I think if anyone ascends it will be Imoen or this Melissan. That way the new god can be easily talked about in other d and d media or even future black isle games.
