I agree with you, most of these guys (Ken, TL, etc) get no thanks for what they do and just get more criticism all the time. But as long as the criticism is well meaning I think you just need to get a thicker skin and realise that that is the price of fame, I'm afraid.
On your earlier point about the 2DA files, you'd have to copy and paste all the lines referencing your new kits from your old 2DA files onto the new 2DA files (seeing as there have been modifications to existing kits anyway (eg wizardslayer etc). You could still do it, but for newbies it might prove all to confusing to work out which files they have cut and pasted from etc. Anyway - you can do it before ToB, I just think it would be messier.
