Jan is a must-have, he has special goggles which can detect invisibility, he can cast spells, he is a pretty good thief, and unlike Nalia and Imoen his thief-skills get better, if you give him the red dragon sword, and the Katana+2 he is a real terror, and with Bracers AC 4 he can cast spells at the same time, especially if he also has the Robe Of The Neutral Archmagi, oh yeah, I almost forgot Jan's best ability and the thing that makes him a must-have, his funny stories!
