As for non-hacked characters, I think given the right gear, Edwin is the best. The extra spells he gets makes him superior to any created character.
Someone is bound to argue in favor of a dual classed character, but I'd still take the extra spells. Also, imo 99% of people who dual class a character use an experience point cheat when they're level 1.
