So, do I have to do the "reform party" thing to kick someone out _before_ I talk to a new NPC for the first time (assuming my party is maxed out)?

What happens if you force attack a party member in a single player game?
(Can you even do that?)

If you ask someone to join a full party, teh game automatically goes to the "reform party" screen. Saves you from doing it first.

You can "force attack" a memeber, but the party will probably leave you, and you will lose rep points, maybe alignment, and if you are a paladin or ranger, you will lose your status.

"single-handed" and "two-handed" profs are for melee weapons only.
