Killer, maybe u should use the custom AI scripts and then your other characters won't just die all the time. Put them on passive or ranged and they'll keep at a safe distance. I don't recommend using the mage or priest scripts though, u don't want your mage wasting his finger of deaths on mutated gibberlings
The thief scout script is excellent for monks, thieves and rangers because it automatically hides in the shadows all the time so u don't have to worry about it.
