I ain't too much up on all this but maybe if you posted all your guys stat's and the weapons name & stat's ie 1D6 +3 then someone will break it down properly for you. There are guys like Accord, Ramon, Tobbin (these 3 just sprang to mind) and many others that could tell you the break down straight off. As it stands your info' is slightly vague. You may be wearing stuff that gives combat bonuses, who knows. Give as much info' as possible and I'm sure you'll get an answer. Rest assured, there will be many people watching this thread for the same answers
