You have to have access to a gif or pic on a website, then set up a link using the format:

{IMG}http://www.mywebsite.com/myimage.gif{/IMG}

but instead of { } use [ ]

There are various places you can get images, such as the graphics library button at the top of the screen - just copy and paste in the link to the signature line of your profile using the above format.
