Can't say I've ever tried those glasses with a wizard slayer, but I know that druids, bards, and paladins can use it, because Cernd, Jaheira, Viconia, Haer'dalis (before he advanced far enough) and Keldorn all did the honors with the glasses in various parties of mine.
