Well... Perhaps it'd happen like THIS:
- Firkraag casts Haste
- Kangaxx casts Imprisonment; it bounces off Firkraag's magical resistance
- Firkraag attacks; he cannot harm Kangaxx
- Kangaxx casts Imprisonment; it bounces off Firkraag's magical resistance
- Firkraag flames Kangaxx; it does not hurt Kangaxx
- Kangaxx casts Imprisonment; it bounces off Firkraag's magical resistance
- Firkraag attacks...
And so on, until the two super-enemies realise that there are parties of adventurers they could be killing instead of wasting valuable time doing nothing to each other.
