I had a *BIG* post over this in the past, and the repsonse was much more towards Imoen than Nalia so I guess she isn't worth bothering after all.

*SPOILER*....................

When you get Imoen back in the Underdark - she will only be LEVEL 13 AT MAX!!! So if you don't want to trade your powerful LV 17 Nalia with all her spells then DON'T TAKE HER IN THE BEGINNING! Save those spells for Imoen
