I'm not too sure exactly what it is that you're saying. Yoshimo is a Bounty Hunter and not a "pure" thief. You need to apply your (25) thieving skill points to whichever thief skill suits you upon level up, (there are 7 skills to choose from, so don't forget to scroll down the list.) It's unlikely that you'll hit the max' cap in any of them.
Are you saying that you have a Necromancer equal to Edwins level (ie level 15) but with less spell slots available?
