Excalibur may have broken, but it undoubtedly did not have the little box labeled "unbreakable" checked in its "Excalibur.itm" attributes folder. In the game, "magical" and "unbreakable" are synonymous, if that quality is assigned to the item. For that point, has anyone ever wondered why your cloak or mage robe hasn't been lit on fire when Fiirkrag flamed you? Is it made of Elven Asbestos? Playing with the Infinity Engine Editor Pro is teaching me a lot, but I'm far from a god yet, even in my own BGII world. You can create a magical sword that could break (if normal weapons break- never happened to me except BGI, when I had some infected iron ore) by unchecking the box.
