Hi Jigster! Yes, the stars and titles correspond to levels of posts made.
They are entirely for fun and in no way should anyone feel bad at having a lower number of posts than someone else. Just a little humor and silliness thrown in for our amusement by our Webmaster!
Oh and by the same token, posting just for the sake of getting higher ratings is not a good thing, either. So take it all in the spirit of fun and enjoy your time on the board!
