ok great thanks for the tip. I'm still a bit stuck though as apparently there are no longer any shadows showing up... did this shadow with the key appear right near the two locked doors?
If something is wrong and I can't get it anymore, could you post the correct name of the key and I'll see if I can download one of the save game editors out there...
