I've used the same party all through the BG series, and created the same party for IWD and HOW. I love `em

Lillie - paladin
Slash - half-elf fighter
Twinkle - dwarven cleric (used the Priest of Lathander kit in BG2)
Rena - halfling thief
Biff - half-elf druid
Hex - elven mage
