I think it's nice to try out all the classes that aren't in the game and which you haven't experienced yet. I think 6 bards or mages are booooooooooooooring

Just try to make a balanced party which serves all your needs - healing thieving fighting spellcasting - and keep one or more slots for NPC quests.
