I didn't want to go with the all too popular dual class Kensai-Mage as my adventuring comrade did, yet I wanted to have Mage as my second class which would be unlimited (As I favour controlling one lone character rather than a party). In time, I found that the Shapeshifter Druid fits the first class's role very well. Ideally, since lvl 13 comes at only 750K exp, it is a good stopping point (13th allows greater werewolf transform, 2 lvl 6 spells). One can also make the next jump to lvl 14 (1500K exp) and gain a 7th level priest spell if one wishes to spend a bit more time in development. At any rate, these druids are not allowed to wear armor anyway, which likens this duo to those of Monk-Mage, and Kensai-Mage. Lvl 13 is much more practical, and would yield a powerful spellcasting character with the ability to assume a powerful physical form that is easily enhanced magically (innate abilities of main char. work when you're a werewolf; Holy Strength sets strength at 22.), and has magic resistance. High ability requirements : Str-15 Wis-15 Cha-15 Int-17 , but it's do-able. Just my 2 cents! What do yoos guys think?
