Wow I don't know what you took, but it definetly affected your style. I would also prefer that fighting took place with other clans. On the flip side that does eem a long way off. The whole leadership fight idea was mainly an attempt to provide some entertainment in the mean time. The fight for leadership should probably be scrapped until we actually see the results of a Triumvirate leadership.
This does not mean, however, that some inter clain fighting would hurt though. Think of it as battle practice. All armies great and small engage in exercises to make themselves better prepared. I think the person to person conflict provides the opportunity that BGII does not. In BGII you fight against the computer who presumably plays using odds and logic. There are many other variables involved in a real encounter that a computer may not use i.e. a Kamakazi rush.
