This post really belongs in the ToB-section (assuming you're talking about them in WK), but I'll answer your question.
The desert trolls are immune to most elemetals, but not acid. Have eg the Flail of Ages by your side, and kill'em.
This atleast worked for me. But after what I've read, it seems like they can be killed with ice to.
