Erstale's apprentice's Robe
Description:
"...
among the children of the light
be ware
of the ones with bright eyes
they are the bringers of fire,
the tillers of soil,
the husbanders of animals
the crafters of magic
the masters of arcane
be ware! be ware!
drink not their blood, for they will ensnare you.
learn and watch
watch and learn
from them
Trust not
the ones with bright eyes
towards the dawn:
Remember always.
it is the dawning that
brings your death.

------------------------------------------- the Chronicle of Shadows
"Vamperic mage was truely a foul thing. If there was anything in the world of Faerun matched a vampiric mage, if not based on power but the evilness itself, there was only the vamperic mage himself."
------------------------------------------- Magius Magistrate
This robe belonged to Hurricaer Vullitus, a dark necromecor. It was granted by his master, a gentle illusionist named Erstale Vullitus, who also adopted Hurricaer as a son.
Hurricaer grew up at the dark streets of Luskan. Most children of similar fate would of gone into a career of thievery or assasination. Hurricaer was different. He believed he deserved a better fate then, so strong that he believed, though poor and physically weak, he never turned into a thief. Except some occansions he hadn't had food for more than a week, he never put his hand into a pocket that didn't belong to him. When he was a bit older, some of the local rogues came to him, and tried to "convince" the stubborn boy to join their business. Try as they might, Hurricaer never backed down. Eventually, the locals grew tired of him and since he was that much of a threat, they left him alone.
When Hurricaer was a bit older, he would always sat on top of the hill that located east of the city, watching Hostte Tower, the tallest and most fascinating building of the city, with wonder and imagination for hours. Being unusually mature at his age, he had overheard quite lot about this real power that functioned city of Luskan. And he knew that if he was a member of the Hostte Tower, his life would be different then.
Unfortunately, Lady Tymora never smiled upon him. Disappointed, Hurricaer sneaked into a boat that was departing to Amn, a southen country that was supposed to be full of promises, opportunities and fortunes.
The little adventurer was to be caught and thown into the sea to feed the sharks, had it not been Erstale Vullitus, an old kind illusionist bumped into him. Both lonely while strong in mind, the two quickly became friends. The old man loved Hurricaer as a son, and he gave Hurricaer his own family name.
Erstale was a local resident of Amn, and he took Hurricaer with him, and taught him magic. To the old man's surprise and joy, Hurricaer was extremely talented. The young man worked hard, day and night, Erstale could always saw the faint light came out of the boy's room.
Erstale was truely apleased and proud at this young apprentice. To reward his apprentice's effort, Erstale hired the best semstress, and bought the best clothing and made this robe for him.

This is Erstale's tradmark as well as his one of his proud inventions. The spell alow the caster to disguse his appearance into the chosen target at will. The target with int lower than 8, if hostile, must make save vs spell to avoid confusion and horror for 2d6 rounds. (due to the psycological reasons).
The hostile creature's team, if the caster was not within their sight when disgusing happened, will not attack the caster. However, whoever did saw the disgusing will start attacking the caster.
The caster is free to attack even cast any spells without worrying about being undisgused. A true seen, dispel illusion or successful dispel will remove the disguse.
Any hostile creature doesn't witness the disgusing will not attack the caster until the caster attack or cast an offensive spell. The effect lasts 24 hours until dispeled.
Note: Undead and extraplanar creatures will not be affected by this spell.
