There is an exit from the Underdark without using the silver dragon to find it for you. It's just a lot harder
BTW it's great that people responded quickly to this thread but could I suggest that the responses be labeled as "spoilers" in future? The appearance of the silver dragon in the Underdark was a bit of a plot twists and any posts revealing plot twists should really be labelled as such. The ambiguity of the subject title just makes it worse.
