Heh, it's like with the troll shaman, Grae I think, in Druid Grove area at the mound when doing the Limited Wish quest.. Anyway I left the party behind, and ran further with the main char. He was wielding the Vorpal Blade and Boots of Speed (original ones with Haste, not walk speed improvement). So I whack Grae few times and then she screams "Mercy!" - game pauses. She asks for mercy if she tells me where the gong is, and feeling generous, I agree. So she tells me where it is and then the dialogue gives you choices, a la "Die now!" or "get lost". So, still in good mood, I tell to Grae "You may go". Grae is ever grateful, with the "Oh! You are honorable?" and starts to run away. Game unpauses... and WHACK! Vorpal hit on Grae, ghost rises up, Grae smacked. Oops..
