Nice question. Usually people ask for the most powerful kit.
Skald (Bard kit) is indeed pretty weak, but only for soloing. They kick ass in a team.
Beast Masters (Ranger kit) have pretty heavy restrictions in both weapons and armor.
Wizard Slayers (Fighter kit) are unable to use any magical items/equipment with the exception of weapons and armor, which makes the game pretty hard too, as usually you rely heavily on magical stuff.
These are IMO the weakest kits.
