BK and GM: Albany area (Albany being the captital of the state- working home of legislature and Governor Pataki), upstate, just at base of the beginning of the Adirondack Mountain area and about 2hrs north of NY city and approx 4 hrs West of Boston, give or take some and about 45 min west of the southern Vermont border. Not far south from where the Battle of Saratoga took place. On the Hudson River (My place is actually a few miles from the river). Next door to Schenectady home of the infamous GE plants that are homebase to the ones that have polluted the Hudson for decades and now fight the dredging ordered by the EPA. Several hours east of Buffalo and the Great Lakes (and a neat little town that does a spiffy Renaissance Festival every summer -wknds only).
