Man, that was great. Just had some coffee and good conversation with two guys from Melbourne. Compared notes, philosophies and observations. Very cool. One had just spent two months in Deutschland.
London at night! What a vibe! The teeming mass of humanity, the sense of history, the feeling of action, the feeling that here has a gravity around which so much swings - is all quite amazing. Passed Soho and Covent Garden earlier. Shows galore, entertainment galore. People everywhere. The public transport is a confusing mass of spaghetti-like twists and turns that link anywhere to everywhere.
My Melbournite friends bemoaned the coffee here though. My cappucino was ok. nice and strong but they complained they hadn't had a good latte since they arrived. Oh well.
