Okay last chance not to be spoiled . . . .
Here is the deal. Until you make a decision on who to pay and do all those quests, you can do the subquests. After you go to the Crazy Wizard place, you are unable to finish those other subquests until you can finish the underdark. My suggestion is to do them now, so your characters will be stronger for the underdark. But that is just MHO.
