Hi,

I have completed the Planar Sphere quest, including bringing the old guy outside to die on his home world. All my party members received gobs of experience and then Valygar had some revelations about his life and asked if he could stay with the party (which I agreed to). So anyway, since I'm a mage, I thought that something else was supposed to happen. Shouldn't the old guy have offered me possession of the sphere before he died? Shouldn't the cowled wizards have shown up to do business with me? Does it matter that I already have the fighter stronghold which I gained before I dualed to a mage? BTW, I am a Kensai/Mage levels 9/12. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
